So, it's been a while.

 

Life threw a few curve balls after I retired in October 2023:

• I developed super ventricular tachycardia and a surprise heart murmur in late October, both of which worsened over time
• June 2024 I had open heart surgery to repair the heart murmur
• As a result of that surgery I developed atrial fibrillation
• In November I had ablations performed which have corrected both the atrial fibrillation and the tachycardia

Now I'm feeling like me again for the first time in at least a couple of years and it's time to rejuvenate the blog.

Tonight my able assistant, GingerSnap, is snoozing on my right arm so I'm typing with my left index finger. This will be short, just dipping my toes into the water.
